2 - Your rights

  • Right to limitation of processing in accordance with Article 18 of the GDPR (for example, to receive only strictly necessary emails)
  • Right to data portability in accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR (e.g. receive a file containing all your personal data)
  • Right to object in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR (for example, if you do not agree with the data analyses presented here)

3 - Personal data protection

We will take all necessary and reasonable steps to protect the personal information we collect. This is to prevent misuse, loss or unauthorized access to personal data. Technical and organizational measures are put in place for this purpose.

4 - Lifetime and deletion of data

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we will only store data for as long as is necessary for us to achieve the purposes of the processing or to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations.

5 - Browsing the site

When using our websites, personal data transmitted by your browser is stored for statistical and technical administration purposes. This includes browser type and version, operating system used, URL accessed, referring URL, IP address, date and time of use and HTTP status. The processing is carried out for the purpose of our legitimate interests, the legal basis of which is Article 6.1.f of the GDPR.

6 - Registration

In order to access the member area, a registration is required. The required information is an email, a username and a password. The data provided will be processed for the purpose of providing the service, the legal basis of which is Article 6.1.b of the GDPR.

7 - Contact form

Our website contains a contact form with which you can send us messages. The required information is a name and an email. The other fields do not require any personal data. The transfer of your data is encrypted. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Article 6.1.b of the GDPR.

8 - Payment system

It is possible to pay for additional options within the website. The personal data related to the payment (your contact and payment data) is initially collected and processed by the respective payment service provider. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6.1.b of the GDPR.

9 - Newsletter

Emails related to the contractual relationship (e.g. confirmation of registration) are sent to the email address provided at registration. We do not send any emails that are not directly related to the contractual relationship (e.g. information about the services) without your consent. In order to obtain your consent, we use a double opt-in procedure. You can withdraw your consent by clicking on a link in each newsletter or by contacting us at contact@empireimmo.com.

10 - In-game communication

We offer several means of communication within our services (forum, messaging, chat, press, comment). These means of communication are monitored by moderators, in order to prevent and punish breaches of the rules of Netiquette (rules of good conduct on the Internet) and the rules of law in force. We monitor your IP address. The collection of this information to combat fraud is based on our legitimate interests, the legal basis of which is Article 6.1.f of the GDPR. We reserve the right to delete your publications due to their illegal nature.

11 - Cookies

We use cookies on our site that contain information about your current or last visit to the website or your preferences for using the site. We use three types of cookies:

  • Mandatory cookies necessary for the technical operation of the site
  • Functional cookies necessary for certain functionalities or preferential settings
  • Tracking cookies for statistical, analytic and behavioral purposes.
You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. If you delete cookies, some web pages may not be displayed correctly. 12 - Google Analytics

We use the Google Analytics service from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; "Google") to analyze visits to our website. Google Analytics uses tracking cookies that allow us to make an anonymous analysis of user usage and behavior. The information collected by the cookies is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or you can prevent this processing by Google by downloading and installing this extension: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=fr. The legal basis here is Article 6.1.f of the GDPR.

13 - Facebook Pixels

We use Facebook Pixel on our website, a service provided by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). The use of Facebook Pixel is for the purpose of marketing our services, evaluating, billing and optimizing advertising campaigns on Facebook. The data collected is anonymous to us, however, it is stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes in accordance with Facebook's Data Usage Policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. A cookie may also be stored on your browser for these purposes. As a protective measure, the service is disabled by default on our websites and can be activated via the cookie banner. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Article 6.1.a of the GDPR, which you can declare in the context of our cookie banner.

14 - Youtube

We use the YouTube service to embed videos within the website. YouTube is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you watch these videos, a connection to Google's YouTube servers is established and your IP address is transmitted for technical reasons. If you are also logged into your Google account, your Google account will associate the playback of the videos with your Google account. This data processing allows the integration of the YouTube service and thus the viewing of videos directly within the website in our legitimate interest of optimizing the user experience and our offers, the legal basis of which is Article 6.1.f of the GDPR.

15 - Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change the data protection declaration at any time, in compliance with the applicable data protection laws. We advise you to keep the privacy policy up to date each time you visit our website.
